Job Description

Primarily responsible for revenue accounting (2 plants, E&P revenues), preparation and distribution of product allocations and invoices, preparation and filing severance taxes and regulatory reporting, product imbalances; respond to owner inquiries, special projects

Responsibilities and duties:


- Record plant revenues for two plants (product allocations, invoice take-in-kind owners, processing fees,) 


- Prepare and distribution invoices to purchasers; follow up an any payment discrepancies 


- Prepare producing well reports, active well count report 


- Record oil and gas revenue transactions (Bolo)


- Prepare and submit regulatory reports (AL, TX, MS) 


- Prepare and submit severance taxes, PERC fees


- Prepare revenue accrual entries 


- Process revenues (Bolo)


- Calculate product imbalances, revaluations and distribute reports

- Reconcile revenue balance sheet accounts

 
- Respond to revenue owner inquiries

 
- Develop and ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures

 
- Special projects

Job Qualifications

- Degree in accounting and 5 years plant/E&P experience required; CPA optional

 
- Bolo/Excalibur and GPIS (Gas Plant Information Systems) system experience preferred


- Ability to multi-task, work effectively with many different areas within the company (land, operations, marketing, accounting) and   external customers


- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must

Required Experience:
Accounting Degree and 5 years experience
